Work
is underway on repairing the R6 after crashing out of the first
race of the Sunday race day at Snetterton. Although repaired sufficiently
in the pits to race the 2nd of the day, it did return home looking
rather second hand with the fairing held with tape and cable ties
and the fuel tank rather reshaped.
Snetterton
modifications
A
new tank was located and purchased and a new set of fairings,
although the seat unit was repairable. The R6 also required new
crash protectors, screen, clip ons and brake master cylinder.

Over the course of several weeks Martin did the required repairs
and resprayed the seat unit, tank and new fairings in the now
familiar yellow and black colour scheme.
