The British Motorcyle Racing Club or bemsee as it is widely known
was established in 1907 and is the largest road racing club in
the uk. Bemsee has over 3000 members which has produced some very
successful racers including Chris Walker (World & British
Superbikes), Casey Stoner (current MotoGP world champion), James
Toseland (current World Superbike champion) and Shane Byrne (British
Superbike champion and MotoGP rider) to name a few.

Although Bemsee is based in the South East it does travel the
country to make use of the best circuits in the UK. In 2008 the
club will be going to Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Donnington, Snetterton,
Oulton Park and Cadwell Park which are all BSB quality venues.
A typical weekend usually attracts around 300 racers and their
teams which can attact about 4000 spectators at some venues. Each
class in bemsee contests 10 rounds on weekends between March and
October which consists of a testing day on the Friday and 2 races
on both Saturday and Sunday.
